Might be dropping C++ for the PI

One major problem with my effort to create a cross compiler for the pi is that for anything more than the simplest program, building the required libraries with the cross compiler becomes a completely onerous task. And because I have some of those same libraries compiled for the mac through macports, keeping the versions apart requires a makefile for my pi program in which I have to point to the pi-compiled versions of things. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare. It might be time for Python.
